Our Story

The Late Onset Tay-Sachs Research & Education Foundation was founded by Bonnie Pastor. Bonnie was inspired to create our foundation because at just 21 years old, her son, Eric was diagnosed. Her mission in creating this foundation was to educate doctors and the lay community in order to create awareness around the disease.

Collaborating for Progress

We Are Here For You.

Welcome to the Late-Onset Tay-Sachs (LOTS) Foundation, where compassion meets action. Our mission is to support individuals and families affected by this rare condition with understanding, resources, and hope. We believe in the power of community and the strength that comes from standing together. Whether you’re seeking information, looking for support, or ready to join the fight for a cure, we are here for you every step of the way. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those touched by LOTS.

Be Realistic.

Late Onset Tay-Sachs is a progressive disease. Taking precautionary steps and making sure that you maintain your health and wellness is a top-priority. Exercise and diet are essential to maintaining a full and productive life.
